Responsibilities
- Design and ship conversational interfaces and AI-driven UX patterns on iOS.
- Architect and build production-grade Swift features using async/await, structured concurrency, and modern iOS APIs.
- Lead context-aware experiences based on behavior, preferences, and app state while emphasizing performance and privacy.
- Use analytics, experimentation, A/B tests, logging, and validation to improve feature quality.
- Translate complex AI/ML capabilities into intuitive mobile interactions.
- Use AI-assisted coding tools while maintaining a high-quality, well-tested codebase.
- Collaborate with product, design, and backend teams.
Requirements
- 5+ years of professional development experience building high-quality iOS apps with strong Swift skills.
- Deep knowledge of Swift, the iOS SDK, Swift concurrency, async/await, Task, actors, structured concurrency, and modern GCD usage.
- Production experience with SwiftUI; UIKit interoperability is a plus.
- Experience with Combine or other reactive patterns and with choosing between reactive approaches and async/await.
- Strong understanding of iOS architecture, including patterns such as MVVM, Clean Architecture, and modularization.
- Experience with JSON, REST, WebSockets, streaming APIs, robust networking, error handling, retries, offline support, offline storage, background processing, threading, and push notifications.
- Familiarity with chat, agents, multimodal UI, LLM-driven features, prompt design, LLM API integration, latency management, fallbacks, guardrails, and conversational UX.
- Experience using AI development tools such as Claude Code or GitHub Copilot with sound judgment about code quality and security.
- Track record building consumer-facing apps, ideally including App Store launches and iteration based on user feedback and metrics.
- BS in Computer Science or a related technical field.
