Responsibilities
- Build, maintain, and improve CI/CD pipelines for AI and software projects using GitLab CI or GitHub Actions.
- Containerize and deploy services using Docker, Kubernetes, Helm, and GitOps workflows such as Argo CD.
- Provision and evolve cloud infrastructure with infrastructure-as-code tools, primarily Terraform and AWS or Azure services.
- Define deployment, environment, and operational requirements with project engineers.
- Improve observability through metrics, logs, dashboards, and alerts.
- Troubleshoot infrastructure, deployment, and integration issues and document durable fixes.
- Apply practices for secrets, access control, configuration, networking, and environment isolation.
- Automate repetitive work with Bash, Python, or another suitable language and contribute to application or tooling code when useful.
- Communicate priorities, progress, and risks while supporting multiple projects.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Approximately 1 to 4 years of relevant experience in DevOps, cloud infrastructure, site reliability, or software engineering with meaningful deployment responsibilities; internships and graduate roles count.
- Hands-on experience with Linux, Git, CI/CD pipelines, and Bash, Python, or a comparable scripting language.
- Foundational experience with Docker and deploying or troubleshooting workloads in Kubernetes.
- Foundational experience with at least one public cloud provider, preferably AWS or Azure.
- Exposure to infrastructure-as-code tools such as Terraform or an equivalent.
- Structured troubleshooting skills and the ability to communicate and collaborate across engineering teams.
- Professional working proficiency in English.
- Preferred qualifications include a master’s degree, experience with GitLab CI, GitHub Actions, Argo CD, Helm, Terraform, Crossplane, Prometheus, Grafana, OpenTelemetry, production APIs or microservices, machine-learning infrastructure, hybrid or customer-managed environments, Python software engineering, and project-based or customer delivery work.
