Responsibilities
- Integrate, extend, and implement the Backbase Digital Banking Platform in production environments.
- Develop large-scale distributed systems and client solutions using Java, Spring, microservices, and enterprise integration patterns.
- Translate business requirements into technical architecture and deliver secure, maintainable, testable code.
- Collaborate with designers, product managers, developers, and clients on multiple professional-services projects.
- Perform unit testing, peer code reviews, and source-control-based development.
- Provide consultative, client-facing technical support to solve complex business challenges.
Requirements
- At least 2 years of hands-on commercial experience integrating, extending, or implementing the Backbase Digital Banking Platform in production.
- At least 5 years of production-level experience with Java, Spring, and Spring extensions such as Spring Web MVC, Spring Boot, and Spring Security.
- Experience with SOAP and RESTful Web Services and tools including XML, JSON, and RAML.
- Knowledge of microservices architecture, distributed systems, SaaS platforms, or service-oriented architectures.
- Experience with JUnit, application servers such as Tomcat, WebSphere, WebLogic, or JBoss, and source-control technologies including Git and Subversion.
- Familiarity with Enterprise Integration Patterns and Apache Camel.
- Experience with AWS, Azure, GCP, Docker, or Kubernetes.
- Experience working with security and systems handling sensitive data, preferably in financial or professional services.
- Bachelor of Science in Computer Science or a related field.
- Experience with Agile methodologies such as Scrum and Kanban, plus knowledge of Test Driven Development and Continuous Integration.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, teamwork, consulting, and client-facing skills.
