Responsibilities
- Design, build, test, deploy, and support complex cloud-native full stack applications on Google Cloud.
- Gather requirements, translate client business challenges into technical designs, and serve as a technical advisor throughout projects.
- Lead and mentor onshore and offshore project teams, conduct peer reviews, and coordinate with cross-functional stakeholders.
- Apply Terraform and modern engineering practices within Agile delivery processes.
- Build data pipelines and analytics solutions using BigQuery, Dataflow, and Looker.
- Contribute to generative and agentic AI solutions using Vertex AI, Gemini models, and retrieval-augmented generation.
- Design security operations and cyber defense integrations with Chronicle, Mandiant, and Security Command Center.
- Deliver customer data, contact center, application modernization, infrastructure, workplace, and collaboration solutions.
- Create reusable offerings, proofs of value, accelerators, reference architectures, estimates, and outcome-focused delivery assets.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field.
- 7+ years of software engineering experience with hands-on GCP delivery and production support.
- 2–3+ years building or operating solutions using GCP products, including IAM and observability.
- Hands-on experience designing, building, and running Google Cloud products in production, not only custom applications hosted on GCP.
- Strong experience with an object-oriented programming language such as Python, Java/JVM, or Node.js.
- Experience with Cloud Run or GKE, Terraform, observability, CI/CD, IAM, OAuth2/OIDC, and secrets.
- Domain depth in at least one of Customer 360, CCAI/contact center, cloud modernization, or data and AI.
- Experience leading a small GCP pod involving solution design, estimation, code reviews, and client communication.
- Strong solutioning, reusable-asset development, estimation, and value-based-outcome skills.
- Google Cloud certifications are preferred.
