Responsibilities
- Translate test cases into C# automation scripts for GUI and API testing.
- Perform manual testing of web applications and web services in client-server environments.
- Create, maintain, and review automation code and frameworks.
- Perform functional, database, sanity, integration, end-to-end, and regression testing.
- Analyze automation failures, perform root cause analysis, and fix identified issues.
- Identify automatable test cases, set up test data, and execute automated tests.
- Submit, track, escalate, and follow up on defects and blocking issues.
- Collaborate with development, QA, project management, business analysis, and onsite teams to ensure test coverage and delivery quality.
- Communicate testing issues, objectives, initiatives, and performance to QA leadership.
Requirements
- 4–6 years of experience in automation and manual testing.
- BE, MCA, or another equivalent degree.
- Strong experience with C# and automation testing.
- Experience testing web services and REST APIs.
- Hands-on experience with Fiddler, SoapUI, and Postman.
- Experience with automation tools such as Selenium, Protractor, or Playwright.
- Knowledge of SQL, databases, test-data creation, and data dependencies across modules.
- Experience creating automation frameworks using approaches such as modular, BDD, or POM frameworks.
- Knowledge and experience with TFS/MTM and defect management processes.
- Understanding of SQA methodologies, SDLC, STLC, and Agile/Scrum environments.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, teamwork, and leadership abilities.
