Responsibilities
- Own end-to-end delivery of complex, multi-month initiatives, including work spanning team boundaries.
- Lead technical designs for products and workflow solutions aligned with long-term team and company strategy.
- Write highly performant and scalable code and frameworks.
- Promote engineering best practices and serve as a primary technical point of contact.
- Lead cross-functional collaboration to resolve complex application and infrastructure issues.
- Mentor engineers, identify skill gaps, and support technical development.
- Communicate technical strategy, trade-offs, and architectural direction to engineering and non-engineering stakeholders.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience.
- Extensive software engineering experience and a track record of leading technical initiatives from design through delivery.
- Experience with financial services or wealth management operations.
- Experience with object-oriented programming.
- Experience with AWS or another cloud platform.
- Experience with infrastructure as code, preferably Terraform.
- Experience with generative AI for coding.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills and the ability to work independently.
