Base Salary
$160k - $250k/yr
Responsibilities
- Define architecture, engineering standards, and end-to-end technical solutions.
- Design secure, scalable cloud and systems architectures across networking, autoscaling, and multi-tenant patterns.
- Build Node.js and TypeScript APIs and services integrated with enterprise systems.
- Develop AI and agent workflows, including retrieval-augmented generation and semantic search.
- Implement infrastructure as code, observability, automated testing, and modern release processes.
- Own engineering quality and reliability while delivering solutions directly with customers.
- Apply AI tools to development, testing, data, and support workflows.
Requirements
- Strong experience designing secure and scalable systems across cloud infrastructure and application architecture.
- Proficiency with Node.js, TypeScript, Postgres, and infrastructure as code using Terraform or CDK.
- Experience with vector databases such as pgvector, Pinecone, or Milvus.
- Experience orchestrating agentic workflows and retrieval-augmented generation; LangGraph familiarity is a plus.
- Experience with CI/CD, automated testing, code reviews, trunk-based development, Docker, and release management.
- Strong ownership, communication, judgment, and ability to work effectively in a fast-moving startup environment.
