Base Salary

$130k - $175k/yr

Responsibilities

Design, develop, integrate, and test new embedded platform features in collaboration with hardware, firmware, software, and product teams.
Collect requirements, understand hardware/software interactions, produce design documents and test plans, and write software.
Provide platform software expertise to application developers to support stable, high-performance products.
Validate functionality in the lab, reproduce and debug issues, establish and automate tests, and provide software support.
Investigate component and reference-board issues using datasheets, supplier FAE support, and hardware debugging tools, and guide design improvements.
Support manufacturing and operations with alternate-part qualification, BOM updates, and component pre-provisioning.

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or Engineering, master’s degree preferred, or equivalent industry experience.
Expert knowledge of Linux or RTOS platform development in modern multi-core ARM processor-based embedded systems.
At least five years of C/C++ embedded systems development experience.
Ability to write scripts and automate tasks using Python and Bash.
Hands-on experience with cross-compilation toolchains targeting embedded Linux systems.
Experience working in an electronic lab with JTAG debuggers, logic analyzers, oscilloscopes, and signal analyzers.
Ability to read schematics and datasheets, communicate effectively, and resolve complex technical issues.
Preferred experience with carrier or enterprise telecommunications products, internally developed SoCs, Git, Rust, Golang, Bazel, Buildroot, gRPC, Protobuf, Zephyr, U-Boot, and ATF.
Preferred conceptual understanding of digital signal processing for wireless communications, including modulation, filtering, sampling, and baseband interfacing.
