Responsibilities
- Contribute to scalable, fault-tolerant back-end systems and APIs serving millions of requests.
- Use technologies such as Scala, C#, Kafka, and Spark in back-end engineering projects.
- Participate in coding, testing, deployment, and monitoring across the full product lifecycle.
- Help maintain reliable systems through CI/CD and testing practices designed to avoid downtime.
- Consider product requirements, technology selection, coding standards, and system scaling.
Requirements
- Currently studying toward a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science or a related field.
- Familiarity with object-oriented and/or functional programming fundamentals.
- Familiarity with relational and/or non-relational databases.
- Good English communication skills and willingness to learn quickly.
- Preferred experience includes Scala, C#, Java, back-end applications, system scaling, MS SQL, Cassandra, Hadoop, Git, TeamCity, or Puppet.
