Responsibilities
- Own a complex, multi-domain RF software ecosystem running on Linux.
- Design and develop high-performance user-space applications using Modern C++.
- Develop and maintain Linux kernel modules and hardware abstraction layers for RF baseband configurations.
- Integrate software quality practices, unit testing, and automated hardware-in-the-loop testing.
- Create clean APIs for full-stack consumption of RF data in collaboration with RF experts.
- Support OEM integrations and end customers, including occasional on-site work.
- Direct development of test infrastructure and QA processes with other engineers.
Requirements
- At least 3 years of experience in relevant software and engineering roles.
- B.Sc. or M.Sc. in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Strong proficiency in Modern C++ and systems programming.
- Experience developing Linux kernel modules or character drivers involving technologies such as DMA, USB, or PCIe.
- Deep understanding of Linux user-space development, including multithreading and inter-process communication.
- Experience implementing software quality pipelines and unit testing frameworks such as GTest.
- Experience with high-throughput data processing or software-defined radios is a plus.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Willingness to travel infrequently.
- Interest in radio technologies and willingness to learn more about RF engineering.
- CH/EU citizenship is required.
