Responsibilities
- Analyze user requirements and product architecture to derive testing requirements.
- Design and author functional and non-functional test cases.
- Create, maintain, and execute automated test suites as well as manual tests.
- Develop test strategies using test technologies and assess product quality and release readiness.
- Document technical defect details and reproduction steps.
- Participate in Agile ceremonies and communicate testing delays or issues to the team.
Requirements
- Three or more years of software testing experience preferred.
- Hands-on software testing or development experience on Linux and Windows operating systems.
- Degree in Information Technology or Computer Science preferred.
- Understanding of testing methodologies and principles.
- Object-oriented programming knowledge in Python or C# .NET.
- Knowledge of database technologies such as Oracle and SQL Server.
- Experience with automation tools such as UFT, CodedUI, or another test framework.
- Experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins and defect-tracking tools.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, collaboration, and root-cause-analysis skills.
