Base Salary
$140k - $210k/yr
Responsibilities
- Develop and unit test web and mobile interfaces and cloud applications using technologies including HTML, CSS, JavaScript/TypeScript, Azure, Drupal, Python, Java, REST, and Spring.
- Contribute to frontend and backend feature design, application architecture, system architecture, and component design.
- Collaborate with UX, product managers or owners, and developers in planning, grooming, and sprint execution.
- Reduce defects, deliver critical and high-priority CII items according to SLA, and meet code coverage standards.
- Conduct peer code reviews and support development, exploratory, AI, and test automation practices.
- Mentor junior developers, grow technical skills within the team, and help build high-performing teams.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, engineering, or a related technical or business field.
- At least 8 years of professional software engineering or development experience.
- Extensive hands-on experience with object-oriented design, Java/J2EE, design patterns, Spring MVC, SQL, and web services.
- Experience with Elasticsearch and data streaming tools such as Kafka.
- Understanding of REST, OAuth, JSON, SOA standards, Python, Bash, SQL, and NoSQL databases.
- Experience with agile development practices such as Scrum, XP, or pair programming.
- Experience with cloud services including Azure, Google Cloud, or AWS.
- Recent development experience with Drupal, Ember, Angular 8+, Java 7+, or Python.
- Familiarity with relational and document databases, CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, and Kubernetes cluster deployment, scaling, and management.
