Responsibilities
- Develop new features and sustain existing products as part of an engineering team.
- Participate in product definition, design, implementation, debugging, testing, and early customer support.
- Handle engineering escalations and resolve technical issues independently.
- Collaborate with peer teams, QA, Systemic Test, support, and other dependent engineering teams.
- Understand customer use cases and deployment scenarios and incorporate relevant input into engineering work.
Requirements
- 2 to 5 years of experience in system software design and development.
- Hands-on experience with C, C++, and debugging using GDB.
- In-depth knowledge of Unix/Linux system programming and multithreaded programming.
- Storage domain experience and strong understanding of operating-system internals.
- Strong expertise in algorithms, data structures, and multithreaded programming.
- Ability to work independently with little supervision and collaborate effectively across teams.
- Virtualization experience is preferred.
