Responsibilities
- Own the delivery and introduction of Oracle CPQ/BigMachines feature enhancements and new capabilities.
- Perform root-cause analysis and recommend short- and long-term technical solutions with documented tradeoffs.
- Write technical design documentation, draft test cases, and identify technical gaps in existing solutions.
- Review Oracle CPQ development for architecture, performance, and code-quality compliance.
- Support and triage customer issues, defects, enhancement requests, and backlog items, including technical research and effort estimation.
- Participate in functional analysis, technical requirements development, testing, deployment, and support across the software development lifecycle.
Requirements
- 4-8 years of successful Oracle CPQ project implementation or overall industry experience.
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering, business, computer science, or a related field, or 5+ years of equivalent experience.
- Hands-on experience with Oracle CPQ configuration, data tables, attributes, rules, BML/BMQL scripts, commerce processes, BOMs, pricing, approvals, analytics, and document design.
- Experience integrating Oracle CPQ with Salesforce and Oracle ERP using pre-built connectors or point-to-point integrations.
- Knowledge of WSDL, SOAP, REST, XML, XML Schema, XSL, web-services standards, and security standards.
- Experience with bulk data upload and migration strategies.
- Understanding of Oracle Subscription Management Cloud and service/subscription contract schemas for renewal quoting.
- Strong analytical, prioritization, communication, independent-work, and collaborative-team skills.
