Responsibilities
- Create production and non-production cloud environments using appropriate platform and software tools.
- Deploy automation pipelines and automate environment creation and configuration.
- Collaborate with multiple teams and stakeholders to align platform capabilities with business and technical requirements.
- Provide cross-team and business-area solutions, advisory guidance, and technical decisions.
- Troubleshoot complex platform-related issues and drive continuous improvement of platform performance and automation processes.
- Mentor and support junior team members through knowledge sharing and skill development.
Requirements
- Minimum 18 years of experience with the Databricks Unified Data Analytics Platform.
- Proficiency in the Databricks Unified Data Analytics Platform is required.
- Experience with PySpark is preferred.
- Strong understanding of cloud infrastructure and environment provisioning.
- Experience designing and implementing automation pipelines for environment setup and configuration.
- Familiarity with scripting and configuration management tools.
- Deep subject-matter expertise, influencing and advisory skills, and the ability to work across multiple teams.
- 15 years of full-time education is required.
