Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and enhance SAP Fiori applications using Freestyle UI5 and MVC architecture.
- Integrate UI5 applications with SAP and Oracle databases through OData services.
- Administer SAP and Oracle databases, including backups, monitoring, performance tuning, health checks, capacity planning, and disaster-recovery testing.
- Implement scalable, highly available database designs and ensure data integrity, security, and privacy compliance.
- Provide database-related technical guidance and support to development teams.
- Collaborate with the SAP Modernization team on database strategies, project goals, and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Stay current with SAP BTP services, Business Application Studio, Fiori Launchpad, and emerging database technologies.
Requirements
- At least 4 years of SAP UI5/Fiori development experience focused on Freestyle UI5 and MVC.
- Proficiency with SAP Business Application Studio, Fiori Launchpad, and HTML5 Repository deployment.
- Hands-on experience administering SAP and Oracle databases, including performance optimization.
- Strong knowledge of database design, security, and backup/recovery strategies.
- Experience integrating SAP BTP services with UI5 applications.
- Familiarity with Agile methodologies and SAP project delivery frameworks.
- Strong problem-solving, analytical, written communication, and verbal communication skills.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field is preferred.
