Base Salary
$125k - $180k/yr
Responsibilities
- Develop frontend features with modern component-based frameworks such as Vue or React.
- Collaborate with users and teammates to implement features and debug issues.
- Work with designers and program managers to implement responsive, modular, and event-driven designs.
- Establish comprehensive testing strategies with the testing team.
- Design and develop complete sections of functionality from broad requirements, including edge cases and error states.
- Follow UI/UX designs and mockups while suggesting and implementing improvements.
- Participate in code reviews and produce high-quality, modular, reusable code.
- Research emerging technologies and apply relevant knowledge to improve the system.
- Potentially contribute to backend development using gRPC and similar frameworks.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field, plus five years of relevant experience; comparable relevant experience without a degree will be considered.
- At least five years of professional frontend software development experience with component-based frameworks.
- Strong familiarity with Vue or React.
- Familiarity with geospatial JavaScript libraries such as Cesium or OpenLayers.
- Familiarity with standard Linux software engineering tools, including git, gcc, and make.
- Ability to obtain and maintain a government security clearance up to TS/SCI.
- Experience with WebSocket or Server-Sent Events is preferred.
- Experience with Tailwind CSS is preferred.
- Experience with REST APIs or FastAPI is preferred.
- Experience with Go and Python is preferred.
- Experience with Docker, Podman, Kubernetes, or other containerization tools is preferred.
- An active DoD Secret clearance or higher is preferred.
