Responsibilities
- Design automation test strategies, plans, and test cases for integration and regression testing.
- Develop and maintain automated testing frameworks, tools, and environments.
- Execute SQL scripts for data validation and test-data preparation.
- Analyze requirements and define effective automated test scenarios.
- Run automated tests, evaluate results, and recommend quality improvements.
- Implement API integrations between testing, defect-management, and source-control tools.
- Perform risk assessments and communicate key testing risks to stakeholders.
- Monitor and report testing progress, quality metrics, and defect status.
- Track defects through resolution and support continuous quality improvement.
- Collaborate with developers, business analysts, and QA teams.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Computer Science or a related field.
- At least 2 years of experience in test automation and related tools.
- Deep understanding of quality assurance, system integration, regression, administration, and implementation.
- Strong experience with SDLC standards and automation best practices.
- Knowledge of Agile and Waterfall software development methodologies.
- Knowledge of SQL and databases.
- Java programming experience and scripting knowledge using Java and REST APIs.
- Understanding of alternative experiences and transferable skillsets is welcomed, even when not every listed qualification is met.
