Responsibilities
- Perform exploratory, functional, and non-functional integration testing for mission-critical communication systems.
- Develop automated tests in Python using test automation tools and frameworks.
- Develop and maintain test procedures, test frameworks, test strategies, and test infrastructure.
- Create and maintain test plans, test reports, and traceability between test cases and requirements.
- Install and configure network equipment to expand the test laboratory.
- Collaborate with developers, quality experts, product owners, domain experts, and system architects.
- Explore AI tools for QA and contribute to continuous improvement of testing processes and tools.
- Support QA best practices and mentor team members in test methodologies across SAFe/SCRUM R&D teams.
Requirements
- BSc or MSc degree in IT, telecommunications, computer science, electronics, or a similar area.
- At least 3 years of experience in Python testing.
- Strong knowledge of test automation tools and frameworks, including Pytest and UI test automation frameworks such as Playwright.
- Experience with Linux systems, Bash, Git, virtualization, containers, and CI/CD pipelines.
- Network management skills, including VLAN configuration and understanding of the TCP/IP stack or protocols such as SNMP and MPLS.
- Experience with laboratory test equipment is advantageous.
- Ability to work independently, take a solutions-oriented approach, learn willingly, and communicate effectively in spoken and written English.
