Responsibilities
- Analyze business, functional, and technical requirements and derive comprehensive test cases and scenarios.
- Create and maintain master test plans, detailed test plans, test scripts, and testing documentation.
- Execute manual and automated tests and document results, defects, resolutions, and test coverage.
- Perform risk assessments throughout testing cycles and provide lessons-learned summaries after project completion.
- Test applications, integrations, APIs, and services for functionality, performance, reliability, scalability, and data integrity.
- Collaborate with developers, business analysts, product owners, and project stakeholders throughout the SDLC.
- Communicate testing progress, risks, issues, and recommendations to management and internal customers.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- At least three years of experience in quality assurance and software testing.
- Experience with Agile/Scrum development methodologies and testing practices.
- Strong understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle and Software Testing Life Cycle.
- Experience creating and executing test plans, test cases, test scripts, and defect reports.
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Preferred experience with Jira, Postman, Swagger, API testing, REST and SOAP services, cloud environments, database validation, test automation tools, and quality engineering practices.
