Responsibilities
- Analyze requirements and product changes, identify risks and gaps, and define appropriate test coverage.
- Design and execute functional, regression, integration, exploratory, and end-to-end tests across web, native mobile, backend, APIs, databases, and integrations.
- Investigate and localize defects across client, backend, data, integrations, and environments using debugging, network, proxy, API, logging, and database tools.
- Test web applications, native iOS and Android applications, REST APIs, backend functionality, authentication, authorization, and API communication.
- Validate data with SQL queries and relational databases, and use tools such as Postman and Swagger for API testing.
- Support software releases, contribute to release-readiness decisions, communicate quality risks and blockers, and collaborate with developers and stakeholders.
- Adapt to new products and testing contexts while improving QA processes, documentation, and testing approaches.
Requirements
- Solid hands-on experience in software testing or manual QA and the ability to work independently.
- Strong experience testing web applications and native iOS and Android applications.
- Strong hands-on experience with backend and REST API testing, including HTTP, client-server architecture, authentication, authorization, and API communication.
- Confident use of API testing tools such as Postman, Swagger, or similar.
- Understanding of relational databases and the ability to write SQL queries for data validation.
- Strong debugging skills using browser DevTools, network analysis, and traffic interception tools such as Charles Proxy, Proxyman, or Fiddler.
- Ability to investigate issues across UI, API, database, and integration layers.
- Hands-on experience with Git workflows, including branches, merges, pull requests, tags/releases, and basic conflict resolution.
- Experience supporting software releases and performing functional, regression, integration, exploratory, and end-to-end testing.
- Ability to work with incomplete requirements, ask relevant questions, identify risks, and build sufficient test coverage.
- Intermediate English or higher, with fluency in Ukrainian or Russian.
- Preferred: experience with Kafka or similar message brokers, asynchronous and event-driven communication, microservices architecture, ADB/Logcat, Xcode Console, CI/CD pipelines, Docker, Kubernetes, cloud environments, test automation or scripting, performance or load testing, and high-load or product-based environments.
