Responsibilities
- Create and maintain automated test cases, execute test suites, diagnose reported bugs, and ensure system quality before production releases.
- Develop, maintain, and troubleshoot automated test suites through continuous integration.
- Maintain test infrastructure stability in non-production environments.
- Troubleshoot and triage issues with different teams to identify and resolve root causes.
- Collaborate with software developers to create test plans, test cases, test procedures, and test reports.
- Influence unit, integration, and end-to-end testing across the engineering organization.
- Estimate testing tasks and work productively with minimal supervision.
Requirements
- 4+ years of experience building automation frameworks for mobile or web applications, particularly social media or related applications.
- High proficiency in testing methodology, SDLC methodology, test documentation procedures, and QA best practices.
- Strong understanding of CI/CD processes and quality checks in development workflows.
- Ability to independently create test plans based on requirements and perform ad hoc and exploratory testing.
- Experience with iOS and Android testing environments.
- Experience testing Agile/Scrum SDLC and using Jira and Confluence to manage the lifecycle.
- At least 3 years of experience testing applications across iOS, Android, web, and mobile web is preferred.
- API testing experience is preferred.
- Scripting skills are desirable.
- Working proficiency in verbal and written English and strong communication and problem-solving skills.
