Responsibilities
- Implement features and technical stories end-to-end across front-end and back-end systems.
- Manage the full pull request lifecycle, including branching, implementation, review response, and merging.
- Write unit, integration, and automated end-to-end tests for implemented features.
- Conduct code reviews focused on correctness, security, and maintainability.
- Integrate AI models and APIs, including LLM APIs, into scalable enterprise applications.
- Facilitate daily stand-ups, own squad-level technical decisions, and escalate cross-squad concerns.
- Define AI development standards covering prompt engineering, output validation, and responsible AI usage.
- Build organizational AI literacy through knowledge sharing, demonstrations, and documentation.
- Collaborate with QA engineers on acceptance criteria and test scenarios.
- Ensure AI-assisted development meets security, data protection, compliance, and regulated financial-services requirements.
- Maintain technical documentation, API specifications, and code comments.
- Participate in sprint ceremonies, retrospectives, and team discussions.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related discipline.
- At least six years of relevant software engineering experience.
- Hands-on proficiency with AI coding assistants and agentic development frameworks.
- Experience with automated end-to-end testing frameworks.
- Proficiency in modern full-stack front-end and back-end development.
- Cloud development experience, preferably with Microsoft Azure.
- Strong prompt engineering skills and the ability to decompose ambiguous requirements into precise AI task instructions.
- Ability to critically assess, validate, and improve AI-generated code.
- Experience integrating LLM APIs into enterprise-grade applications.
- A track record of delivering production applications using AI-augmented development workflows with measurable outcomes.
- Experience leading technical workstreams and mentoring team members on AI development practices.
- Sound judgment about when AI-generated output requires independent human review, especially in regulated or client-facing environments.
