Responsibilities
- Design, develop, troubleshoot, and maintain secure, high-quality software solutions using React and Python.
- Create architecture and design artifacts for complex applications and ensure implementation meets design constraints.
- Use enterprise-authorized AI-assisted development tools for coding, refactoring, testing, troubleshooting, and documentation while validating generated outputs.
- Analyze large and diverse datasets to create visualizations and reports that improve software applications and systems.
- Identify patterns and hidden problems in data to improve coding hygiene and system architecture.
- Perform system design, application development, automated testing, debugging, and operational stability work.
- Contribute to software engineering communities of practice and share reusable development and AI-assisted engineering patterns.
- Promote responsible AI use, secure handling of inputs and outputs, and inclusive team practices.
Requirements
- Formal training or certification in software engineering concepts and at least 3 years of applied experience.
- At least 7 years of experience with React, including hooks, state management, and component architecture, and Python.
- Hands-on experience with enterprise-authorized AI-assisted software development tools and the ability to evaluate, validate, and refine their outputs for correctness, performance, and security.
- Understanding of responsible AI use, data sensitivity, secure input and output handling, resiliency, and security expectations.
- Strong proficiency in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, modern ReactJS patterns, and UI/UX design principles.
- Practical experience with system design, application development, testing, and operational stability.
- Proficiency with React Testing Library, Jest, and Python testing frameworks including pytest and unittest.
- Experience developing, debugging, and maintaining React and Python code in a large corporate environment, including database querying languages.
- Knowledge of the Software Development Life Cycle and agile engineering practices, including CI/CD, application resiliency, and security.
- Preferred experience with Redux, Context API, Next.js, NumPy, Pandas, FastAPI, Django, or Flask, plus exposure to cloud technologies and AI/ML.
