Responsibilities
- Develop data and backend solutions for exploratory analysis, statistical modeling, visualization, and client decision-making.
- Build and maintain data pipelines, data models, data quality controls, and data lake workflows.
- Design scalable backend components and integrate data science methods into production-ready solutions.
- Apply machine learning, predictive modeling, complex data analysis, and statistical analysis to business problems.
- Develop and integrate RESTful and GraphQL APIs and front-end applications using ReactJS.
- Review work for technical accuracy and alignment with requirements.
- Guide junior team members through execution, issue resolution, and technical problem solving.
- Collaborate with clients and internal stakeholders to clarify requirements and manage changing priorities.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or higher is required.
- At least 4 years of experience is required.
- Oral and written proficiency in English is required.
- Proven backend and data engineering experience is required.
- Proficiency in Python, PySpark, and SQL is required.
- Hands-on experience with RESTful and GraphQL APIs and ReactJS is required.
- Experience with data engineering and data science workflows, data pipelines, data lakes, machine learning techniques, predictive modeling, and statistical analysis is expected.
- Experience using C++, R, or MATLAB is valued.
- Preferred fields of study include artificial intelligence and robotics, business analytics, computer and information science, computer engineering, computer programming, data processing/analytics/science, engineering, information technology, machine learning, management information systems, mathematics, statistics, or systems engineering.
