Responsibilities
- Conduct threat-intelligence research, strategic analysis, and threat hunting across Peloton’s enterprise environment.
- Monitor vulnerabilities, threat actors, indicators of compromise, tactics, techniques, procedures, and emerging trends to identify actionable threats.
- Build and improve security detections, user and event behavior baselines, and incident-response workflows with Security Engineering and the SOC.
- Provide triage support for incident-response and investigation efforts.
- Recommend and build countermeasures based on threat analysis, intelligence, and forecasting.
- Develop, implement, and maintain security incident playbooks and runbooks.
- Prepare analysis, findings, recommendations, briefings, reports, and dashboards for managers and senior leadership.
- Eliminate repetitive, high-volume SOC workflows through AI-powered triage pipelines, LLM-assisted investigations, and end-to-end automation.
- Design and ship homegrown security tooling, owning its lifecycle from requirements through iteration.
- Translate threat intelligence and incident learnings into prioritized control recommendations that reduce risk.
Requirements
- At least 3 years of experience in information security.
- Required experience in incident response or threat detection.
- Strong knowledge of incident-response principles and processes.
- Experience automating alert intake, triage, or incident handling.
- Expert experience with SIEM tools or data lakes.
- Experience dissecting attacker methodologies and techniques and/or using EDR tooling.
- Relevant experience with cloud environments such as AWS, GCP, Azure, or Kubernetes; SaaS platforms such as O365 or Google Workspace; or IAM is valued.
- Comfort using AI coding tools as a primary development accelerator for building and shipping security solutions.
- Relevant certifications include GCIH, GCFE, GCIA, GCFA, or AWS Security Specialty.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, a learning mindset, and enthusiasm for learning new technologies or security areas.
