Responsibilities
- Maintain and enhance ASP.NET/C# and SQL Server systems through debugging, documentation, and automated testing.
- Design and deliver cloud-native C#/.NET microservices on Azure using RESTful APIs and event-driven patterns.
- Modernize legacy systems and support interoperability, data flow, and migration to microservices-based architecture.
- Develop automated test suites, practice test-driven development, conduct code reviews, and refactor code.
- Collaborate with product and cross-functional teams to deliver customer-focused solutions.
- Improve architecture and engineering processes while mentoring teammates in modern engineering practices.
Requirements
- At least 7 years of professional software engineering experience at a software product company.
- Consultancy-company experience is considered only when it includes product engineering in healthcare payments or similar domains.
- Deep expertise in C#/.NET and database development, with experience in microservices and event-driven architectures.
- Hands-on experience with Azure and modern DevOps practices, plus the ability to modernize legacy codebases.
- Strong test-driven development discipline and excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field.
