Responsibilities
- Design and develop software for e-commerce order workflows and inventory management.
- Build and enhance large-scale systems and core platform components.
- Implement real-time APIs, asynchronous processes, batch processes, and integrations with external systems.
- Collaborate with backend developers and web designers to improve usability.
- Create mockups and prototypes.
- Develop unit, automated functional, and load tests for microservices.
- Apply software development lifecycle practices to improve product quality, reliability, and performance.
Requirements
- At least 2 years of experience in software engineering, software integration, or a similar role.
- Experience with at least one of Python, Java, or Ruby.
- Experience with JavaScript, CSS, jQuery, and a frontend framework.
- Preferred experience with SQL or NoSQL databases.
- Preferred experience with message brokers such as RabbitMQ.
- Knowledge of software development lifecycle activities including design, implementation, code review, unit testing, debugging, and release.
- Experience with agile practices is strongly preferred.
- Awareness of building cloud-based applications is required.
- Experience developing and running applications in a Kubernetes ecosystem is preferred.
- Experience with Selenium, Robot Framework, or Cucumber is a plus.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, collaboration, and time-management skills.
