Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain Python-based applications and services that integrate LLM capabilities.
- Collaborate with business teams to identify and implement AI solutions for real-world challenges.
- Embed Generative AI into enterprise data product and ML platform workflows.
- Apply prompt design, Retrieval-Augmented Generation, embeddings, vector stores, and agentic AI patterns.
- Provide technical guidance and oversight to junior developers and offshore delivery resources.
- Partner with security, risk, and compliance teams on governance, privacy, and ethical standards.
- Evaluate emerging data and AI technologies for practical viability and business value.
- Improve development lifecycle automation, developer productivity, and speed-to-market.
Requirements
- 6–9 years of professional software development experience with strong Python emphasis.
- Strong familiarity with Generative AI capabilities and patterns including prompt design, Retrieval-Augmented Generation, embeddings, vector stores, and agentic AI.
- Data-centric engineering experience building services and tools within a data engineering organization.
- Experience building and scaling software solutions in cloud environments, preferably AWS.
- Solid background in DevOps workflows, Infrastructure as Code, containerization, and CI/CD pipelines.
- Ability to work independently, collaborate across diverse teams, and mentor or uplift other developers.
- Interest in current AI trends and the ability to apply them pragmatically.
