Base Salary
$191k - $334k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design and build highly reliable, performant, and secure platform building blocks.
- Influence the platform team roadmap and own the evolution of multiple platform areas.
- Partner across engineering teams to provide cross-cutting solutions.
- Deliver deadline-sensitive work that is interdependent with other engineering teams.
- Drive continuous improvement and challenge the status quo across the platform.
- Participate in peer code reviews and engineering design reviews.
Requirements
- At least 7 years of experience designing, building, shipping, and maintaining products or platforms.
- B.S. or M.S. in Computer Science or an equivalent field.
- Experience building and integrating with API-based platforms and understanding REST and other RPC-based systems.
- Experience building and maintaining microservices in Python, Golang, Java, or C++.
- Ability to communicate complex engineering concepts clearly to product and cross-functional stakeholders.
- High ownership, motivation, curiosity, and willingness to learn and exchange feedback.
