Responsibilities
- Design, develop, configure, customize, and maintain Guidewire applications across BillingCenter and integration modules.
- Configure BillingCenter workflows for invoices, payments, write-offs, adjustments, refunds, delinquency, commissions, payment allocation, and general-ledger postings.
- Build Guidewire integrations using plugins, messaging, web services, batch processes, event triggers, and data exchange pipelines.
- Develop and maintain SOAP and REST APIs, XML/XSD data exchanges, JSON structures, messaging components, and integration interfaces.
- Collaborate with business analysts, architects, QA teams, and stakeholders to translate requirements into scalable technical solutions.
- Perform unit testing, support QA and UAT, troubleshoot application and integration issues, and assist with production deployments.
- Participate in code reviews, Agile ceremonies, documentation, and engineering best practices.
Requirements
- At least 6 years of software development experience with strong hands-on exposure to Guidewire InsuranceSuite.
- Strong experience with Guidewire BillingCenter and Guidewire billing integrations.
- Proficiency in Gosu, Java, XML, JSON, XSD, SQL, SOAP/REST web services, and Guidewire configuration tools.
- Understanding of Property & Casualty insurance billing and integration processes.
- Hands-on experience with Guidewire data models, workflows, rules engines, plugins, messaging, batch processes, and web services.
- Experience integrating Guidewire with comp raters, payment gateways, document systems, accounting platforms, customer portals, and other external systems.
- Familiarity with Agile/Scrum and tools such as JIRA and Confluence.
- Preferred exposure to CI/CD pipelines, DevOps tools, Git, Jenkins, Maven, AWS, Azure, or Guidewire Cloud.
- Strong problem-solving, analytical, communication, and documentation skills.
- Guidewire BillingCenter certification is preferred.
