Responsibilities
- Architect and build an on-premise testing platform with device management, automated test execution, and result analysis.
- Develop an elastic grid of physical and virtual devices for scalable, on-demand testing.
- Validate and optimize the performance, reliability, and scalability of the testing platform and its virtualization infrastructure.
- Mentor junior engineers and provide technical guidance.
- Participate in technical discussions and make platform engineering decisions.
- Collaborate with Network Engineering and Security teams to deploy and integrate testing platform services.
- Create architecture diagrams, design documents, user manuals, and other technical documentation.
- Manage and maintain server hardware for performance, reliability, and uptime.
Requirements
- Engineering or Computer Science background with at least 3 years of relevant experience.
- Hands-on proficiency deploying, managing, and optimizing VMware and Red Hat virtualization technologies.
- Proficiency in Python and familiarity with Ansible and Terraform for infrastructure as code.
- Familiarity with functional, regression, performance, and usability testing methodologies.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Ability to communicate complex technical concepts to technical and non-technical colleagues.
- Must be a Singapore Citizen.
