Responsibilities
- Manage SIEM, IDS/IPS, endpoint protection, and vulnerability-management systems.
- Monitor, analyze, and triage security events, alerts, and logs to identify threats and vulnerabilities.
- Perform and document incident response, including containment, eradication, recovery, root-cause analysis, and remediation recommendations.
- Triage bug bounty submissions, code-scanning results, and vulnerability findings through remediation and validation.
- Collaborate with engineering and product teams to embed shift-left security and secure development practices.
- Support vulnerability scanning, segmentation testing, and penetration-testing programs.
- Create security metrics and reporting dashboards for leadership.
- Administer IAM systems and enforce least privilege, segregation of duties, and periodic access reviews.
- Develop and maintain privileged-account-management policies, procedures, and controls.
- Stay current on security threats, vulnerabilities, and industry practices and recommend security improvements.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree required.
- Minimum 5+ years of technology project/program management experience.
- Senior security experience with a proven record of leadership and mentorship.
- Strong knowledge of network security, encryption, authentication, access control, and vulnerability management.
- In-depth experience with SIEM, IDS, and vulnerability scanners.
- Deep understanding of cloud-security concepts and technologies, including AWS, Azure, or GCP.
- Proficiency in scripting and automation with Python, PowerShell, or Bash.
- Experience with incident response and forensics, including log analysis, malware analysis, and threat hunting.
- Understanding of ISO 27001, NIST, and PCI DSS standards and frameworks.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, written, verbal, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
- Ability to communicate complex security issues clearly to technical and non-technical stakeholders and work with minimal supervision.
