Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, troubleshoot, and maintain secure, high-quality production software solutions.
  • Create architecture and design artifacts for complex applications and ensure implementation meets design constraints.
  • Analyze large and diverse datasets to produce visualizations and reporting that improve software applications and systems.
  • Identify data patterns and hidden problems to improve coding hygiene and system architecture.
  • Use enterprise-authorized AI-assisted development and automation tools while validating outputs through peer review, testing, and secure coding practices.
  • Contribute to software engineering communities of practice, emerging-technology events, and team guidance on responsible AI use.

Requirements

  • Formal software engineering training or certification and 3+ years of applied experience.
  • Proficiency in Python, Java, and React.
  • Experience developing, debugging, and maintaining software in a large corporate environment, including database query languages.
  • Production experience with Docker, Kubernetes, containerization, and container orchestration.
  • Exposure to cloud-native development and AWS services, particularly AWS EKS.
  • Understanding of CI/CD, application resiliency, security, and responsible AI use in engineering workflows.
  • Hands-on experience with enterprise-authorized AI-assisted development tools and the ability to evaluate and refine generated outputs.
  • Familiarity with GitHub Copilot, Amazon CodeWhisperer, agentic coding workflows, GenAI fundamentals, and modern front-end technologies such as React.js.
