Responsibilities
- Define and drive the technical strategy for Cloud Resource management within Ads.
- Lead high-fidelity investment modeling for cloud estimation and efficiency projects.
- Design and implement a roadmap for advanced cost observability.
- Build internal platforms to enforce PnL accountability.
- Architect automated frameworks for validating cost estimates and forecasting.
- Identify inefficiencies in cloud infrastructure and re-architect for cost reduction.
- Validate vendor and 3rd-party tool integration for maximum engineering value.
- Set standards for cost as a non-functional requirement across engineering teams.
Requirements
- 10+ years of software engineering experience with a focus on public cloud infrastructure.
- Proficiency in coding with languages such as Go, Python, or Java.
- Deep expertise in Kubernetes, container orchestration, and cloud-native storage.
- Proven track record of building observability pipelines for operational alerts.
- Strong leadership skills to drive clarity in ambiguous situations.
