Responsibilities
- Take full ownership of significant components or services from design to production.
- Serve as a go-to expert in one area of the codebase while maintaining system-wide awareness.
- Apply technical expertise to solve complex problems with creativity and sound engineering judgment.
- Plan and execute major assignments or multiple concurrent projects balancing pace, quality, and maintainability.
- Coordinate with product, design, and other teams as a technical contact on cross-functional projects.
- Mentor the team through code reviews, documentation, and technical leadership.
Requirements
- Advanced expertise in JavaScript/TypeScript and experience with Node.js for backend services.
- Strong proficiency with frontend frameworks such as React.
- Experience with scalable cloud infrastructure and AWS services.
- Familiarity with RESTful APIs and modern database systems.
- Ability to make thoughtful tradeoffs between performance, reliability, and speed of delivery.
- Demonstrated ability to mentor and guide others technically.
