Responsibilities
- Maintain, optimize, and scale developer labs and test environments for availability and performance.
- Design and execute automated audits across on-premises and mixed-OS engineering environments.
- Partner with distributed security champions to implement and maintain local security plans.
- Design and deploy security capabilities for shared labs and environments.
- Maintain environment security policies and align configurations, access controls, and network boundaries with corporate guidelines.
- Automate configuration management, auditing, drift detection, lab deployments, VM templates, and build runners.
Requirements
- 5 to 8 years of relevant industry experience.
- Extensive hands-on experience maintaining complex test environments, developer labs, staging infrastructures, or container registries in a modern software engineering organization.
- Strong understanding of identity and access management, network segmentation, least privilege, and systems security for on-premises systems and networks.
- Ability to design systems that track, document, and validate security compliance across multiple teams.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills for collaborating with distributed teams and security champions.
- Hands-on experience with Puppet manifests, Ansible playbooks, or Terraform templates.
- Experience with Artifactory and Black Duck for software supply chain and vulnerability security.
- Experience with Docker, Docker registries, on-premises Kubernetes, Helm charts, and dynamic VM environments.
- Understanding of high-availability IPAM services and dynamic DNS/Kerberos environments.
- Experience with Jenkins or GitHub Actions for CI/CD pipeline operations.
- Basic AWS fundamentals, including security groups, IAM access keys, and VPC boundaries.
- Familiarity with cloud Kubernetes platforms, Helm, ArgoCD, Trivy, or Snyk.
- Experience managing Windows, Mac, and Linux configurations.
