Responsibilities
- Design, architect, and implement highly available and secure system architecture.
- Implement and improve Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery environments.
- Lead initiatives to define and implement DevOps solutions.
- Manage databases including MySQL, MongoDB, Postgres, and RDS.
- Advise leadership on translating infrastructure requirements into technological solutions.
- Participate in customer workshops and present proposed solutions.
- Act as a subject matter expert on DevOps best practices for AWS and Azure.
- Perform analysis of best practices in DevOps and Infrastructure Automation.
- Review and audit existing solutions and participate in security audits.
- Create technical documentation and mentor team members.
Requirements
- 5+ years of production cloud operations experience.
- 5+ years of expertise in Linux command line.
- 5+ years of experience using Terraform for automation.
- 5+ years of strong experience building production services in AWS.
- 5+ years of experience with Kubernetes configuration management.
- 5+ years of experience working with various databases.
- 3+ years of experience with Docker and building Docker images.
- 3+ years of experience with Artifactory and Jenkins.
- 3+ years of experience with scripting using Python and Bash.
- Significant experience with CI/CD automation tools such as Bitbucket and Jenkins.
- Good understanding of Java and Python applications.
- Significant experience with configuration management tools like Ansible or Puppet.
- Ability to adapt to changing priorities in a high-speed work environment.
- Experience using AI to improve Cloud Operations and Security tasks.
- Ability to participate in on-call rotation.
