Responsibilities
- Design and implement end-to-end system features across user interfaces, backend services, and cloud infrastructure.
- Serve as a subject matter expert, collaborate across teams, and make technical and team decisions.
- Lead system architecture and implementation in alignment with project and client requirements.
- Provide solutions across immediate and multiple teams and coordinate cross-functional integration and deployment.
- Facilitate knowledge sharing and mentor team members.
- Use approved AI assistants for Azure architecture, infrastructure-as-code authoring, documentation, and test planning while validating security, resilience, cost, and deployment risks.
- Architect Azure-hosted LLM and retrieval-augmented generation solutions with secure data access, identity controls, private networking, observability, and human review gates.
Requirements
- At least 3 years of experience is required, with the posting additionally specifying a minimum of 5 years in Microsoft Azure Architecture.
- 15 years of full-time education is required.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Azure Architecture and experience with cloud service models, infrastructure as code, and scalable application design.
- Strong understanding of distributed systems, microservices architecture, containerization, orchestration, deployment automation, and CI/CD processes.
- Ability to design secure, resilient, and high-performance cloud solutions.
- Knowledge of capital markets and investment management, including securities, trading, portfolio management, and investment operations.
- Hands-on experience using approved AI assistants, reviewing generated designs, and validating deployments.
- Ability to architect Azure-hosted LLM services, structured outputs, and RAG with secure access, identity controls, networking, observability, and human approval gates.
- Ability to evaluate AI response quality, latency, cost, prompt-injection resistance, and sensitive-data handling.
