Base Salary
$114k - $155k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, troubleshoot, and maintain secure, high-quality production software and algorithms.
- Build AWS and private-cloud full-stack Java solutions for Commercial and Investment Bank use cases.
- Design and maintain master data models across multiple business domains.
- Build scalable ingestion and data distribution pipelines and develop APIs backed by multiple data stores.
- Develop end-to-end CI/CD and infrastructure-as-code processes for deploying knowledge graphs and related processes on resilient AWS environments.
- Collaborate with the Commercial Bank Data Platform team to leverage existing data assets and create additional data assets.
- Use enterprise-authorized AI-assisted development tools for coding, testing, troubleshooting, documentation, and automation while validating generated outputs.
- Produce architecture and design artifacts and ensure software implementation meets design constraints.
Requirements
- Formal training or certification in software engineering concepts and at least 3 years of applied experience.
- Hands-on experience with system design, application development, testing, and operational stability.
- Experience with Java full-stack development and advanced SQL.
- Expertise with Java, Python, JavaScript, React, Spring, and related software engineering platforms and frameworks.
- Experience with AWS environments, including EC2, ASG, Lambda, EKS, RDS, and Code Deploy.
- Experience developing APIs using backend data stores such as RDS, graph databases, and Dynamo.
- Experience building fully automated CI/CD pipelines using tools or frameworks such as Jules, Spinnaker, and Code Deploy.
- Experience using enterprise-authorized AI-assisted software development tools and critically evaluating, validating, and refining their outputs for correctness, performance, and security.
- Understanding of responsible AI use, data sensitivity, secure input and output handling, resiliency, and security expectations, with the ability to guide peers.
- Knowledge of the software development life cycle and agile development practices.
- Familiarity with modern front-end technologies and exposure to cloud technologies are preferred.
