Base Salary
$240k - $260k/yr
Responsibilities
- Own frontend architecture and technical decision-making for the core platform.
- Build new platform features, including real-time collaboration, AI-powered UIs, and developer tools.
- Refactor frontend systems to improve performance and maintainability.
- Establish component library and design system foundations.
- Set up frontend testing frameworks and CI/CD pipelines.
- Define code review processes, engineering standards, documentation, and onboarding practices.
- Optimize frontend performance and build monitoring systems.
- Improve frontend infrastructure and build tooling.
- Collaborate on API design and integration patterns.
- Mentor junior frontend engineers and provide technical guidance.
- Define frontend hiring standards and interview processes.
- Contribute to product and technical strategy and scale frontend engineering practices.
Requirements
- 10+ years of frontend development experience building complex, production-grade applications.
- Expert-level JavaScript and TypeScript knowledge.
- Deep expertise in React.js and its ecosystem, including hooks, context, and performance optimization.
- Strong understanding of state management approaches such as Redux, MobX, and Zustand.
- Experience configuring modern build tools such as Webpack, Vite, and esbuild.
- Ability to architect scalable, maintainable frontend systems.
- Experience with responsive design and cross-browser compatibility.
- Strong understanding of web performance optimization, including bundle size, rendering performance, and Core Web Vitals.
- Experience with frontend testing frameworks including Jest, React Testing Library, Playwright, and Cypress.
- Track record of technical leadership through mentoring, code reviews, and engineering standards.
