Base Salary
$150k - $185k/yr
Responsibilities
- Own frontend architecture and technical decision-making for the core platform.
- Build new platform features, including real-time collaboration, AI-powered UIs, and developer tools.
- Refactor frontend systems to improve performance and maintainability.
- Establish component library and design system foundations.
- Set up frontend testing frameworks, CI/CD pipelines, monitoring systems, and build tooling.
- Define code review processes, engineering standards, technical documentation, and onboarding practices.
- Mentor junior frontend engineers and provide technical guidance.
- Collaborate on API design and integration patterns.
- Scale frontend engineering practices and define hiring and interview standards.
- Contribute to product and technical strategy discussions.
Requirements
- 10+ years of frontend development experience building complex, production-grade applications.
- Expert-level knowledge of JavaScript and TypeScript.
- Deep expertise in React.js, including hooks, context, performance optimization, and modern patterns.
- Strong understanding of state management tools and patterns, including Redux, MobX, or Zustand.
- Experience with Webpack, Vite, esbuild, or similar modern build tools.
- Ability to architect scalable and maintainable frontend systems.
- Experience with responsive design, cross-browser compatibility, and web performance optimization.
- Experience with frontend testing frameworks including Jest, React Testing Library, Playwright, or Cypress.
- Track record of technical leadership through mentoring, code reviews, and engineering standards.
