Responsibilities
- Build and deploy machine learning models for recommendations, ranking, and personalization.
- Own the ML lifecycle from data exploration and feature engineering through training, evaluation, and production deployment.
- Develop and maintain scalable ML pipelines using Spark and Airflow.
- Design, train, and optimize production models with PyTorch or TensorFlow.
- Contribute to experimentation frameworks, A/B testing, and offline model evaluation.
- Collaborate with Product and Engineering to translate product questions into ML solutions.
- Apply responsible AI practices addressing fairness, transparency, and safety.
Requirements
- Typically requires 5–8 years of experience, with equivalent skills from alternative backgrounds also considered.
- Strong experience building and deploying machine learning models in production environments.
- Proficiency in Python and at least one major ML framework such as PyTorch or TensorFlow.
- Experience with data pipelines and distributed systems such as Spark and Airflow.
- Familiarity with experimentation methodologies, A/B testing, and model evaluation techniques.
- Ability to collaborate across functions, demonstrate ownership, and adapt to evolving priorities.
- Ability to apply ML techniques and emerging tools, including LLMs, responsibly.
