Responsibilities
- Build platforms, systems, and services for internal and external teams interacting with large-scale production systems.
- Build tools that improve engineering productivity.
- Design, develop, test, deploy, maintain, and improve software.
- Introduce new ideas and technologies into the platform and iterate on solutions.
- Support data center infrastructure, server operations, cloud services, and related platform tooling.
Requirements
- BS degree in Computer Science, a similar technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Experience in at least two of web application development, Unix/Linux environments, distributed and parallel systems, networking systems, or large software systems.
- Experience with DICM, ITOM, or ITSM.
- GPU, big data, Hadoop, Kafka, Apache, or streaming/computing experience is a key indicator of success.
- Preferred: three years of software development experience with Golang or Python.
- Preferred: familiarity with the full web stack, protocols, and web server optimization techniques.
- Preferred: experience troubleshooting in a fast-paced production environment.
- Preferred: strong web design sense and familiarity with user-experience fundamentals.
