Responsibilities
- Design reliable, scalable, and efficient systems for serving models with different latency, throughput, and compute requirements.
- Manage model lifecycles, including versioning, progressive deployments, rollbacks, and zero-downtime updates.
- Analyze and optimize model and platform performance, response times, resource utilization, costs, and operational stability.
- Continuously evolve platforms and tools that facilitate model development, deployment, and operation at scale.
- Collaborate with Machine Learning, infrastructure, and product teams to transform trained or fine-tuned models into production services.
Requirements
- Experience managing, operating, troubleshooting, and performing basic configuration of Kubernetes.
- Experience with the lifecycle of Docker images.
- Programming or scripting knowledge for automation and operations using Python, Go, or Bash.
- Knowledge of inference performance for machine learning models and LLMs.
- Knowledge of tools used to make machine learning models and LLMs available as services.
