Responsibilities
- Develop and commercialize ML solutions such as the Snapdragon Neural Processing Engine SDK on Qualcomm SoCs.
- Develop software features across the machine learning stack and enable AI/ML solutions on multiple platforms.
- Deploy and maintain large C/C++ dependency stacks using software engineering best practices.
- Continuously enhance solutions based on developments in software engineering, machine learning, industry, and academia.
- Collaborate with systems, hardware, architecture, test, and globally distributed engineering teams.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related field with 2+ years of software engineering or related experience; or a master’s degree with 1+ year; or a PhD in a related field.
- 3–7 years of relevant software development experience.
- 2+ years of academic or work experience with programming languages such as C, C++, Java, or Python.
- Strong C and C++ development skills and experience with embedded systems development.
- Strong understanding of processor architecture, system design fundamentals, operating-system concepts, and software debugging.
- Preferred experience includes Linux kernel or driver development, object-oriented programming, and design patterns.
- Excellent verbal, presentation, and written communication skills and the ability to collaborate across diverse teams.
