Base Salary
$114k - $213k/yr
Responsibilities
- Develop full-stack client, server, and service applications for satellite ground software across OS, platform, and mission-specific layers.
- Develop, integrate, deploy, configure, install, and sustain ground segment software in operational, development, and test environments.
- Support operations, launch and launch rehearsal events, acceptance testing, and troubleshooting of software errors and hardware affecting ground software.
- Perform test automation, software defect resolution, remediation, and enhancements driven by customer requests or mission needs.
- Make project decisions while considering overall budget and schedule constraints.
Requirements
- Software Engineer Level 3 requires a bachelor's degree in STEM and 5 years of experience, a master's degree and 3 years of experience, or a PhD; experience may substitute for the degree with an additional 4 years.
- Software Engineer Level 4 requires a bachelor's degree in STEM and 8 years of experience, a master's degree and 6 years of experience, or a PhD and 3 years of experience; experience may substitute for the degree with an additional 4 years.
- Demonstrated software development experience with Python application development, C++, and Bash scripting.
- U.S. citizenship and a current or active Top Secret clearance are required at the time of application.
- Top Secret with SCI is strongly preferred.
Benefits
- Primary-level base salary is $114,000.00-$171,000.00 and secondary-level base salary is $142,200.00-$213,400.00 annually.

- The position is onsite at the Dulles, Virginia campus and requires 10% travel.
