Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain core engine systems for For Honor.
- Investigate and resolve complex performance, stability, and memory issues.
- Design and implement technical improvements supporting production needs.
- Collaborate across Gameplay, Online, Tools, User Interface, and Graphics teams.
- Review code and contribute to programming practices.
- Support programmers using and evolving engine systems.
- Contribute to optimization, automation, and technology modernization.
Requirements
- At least 5 years of software programming experience.
- A degree in computer science, software engineering, or equivalent training.
- Experience with C++ programming.
- Understanding of game engine architecture and low-level systems.
- Experience with performance optimization, multithreading, or memory management.
- Strong technical problem-solving and debugging skills.
- Experience with Anvil or Scimitar, or interest in learning the engine.
- Multiplayer or live-service game experience is an asset.
- A CV highlighting relevant skills and experience, plus links to relevant programming projects or code repositories.
