Responsibilities
- Build and evolve customer-facing iOS features using Swift and native iOS capabilities.
- Improve app speed, reliability, performance, and overall quality by identifying bottlenecks and resolving bugs.
- Contribute to the architecture, shared capabilities, libraries, experiences, build infrastructure, and analytics infrastructure supporting the mobile app.
- Collaborate with iOS, React Native, Android, Product, Design, and Backend teams to shape and deliver solutions.
- Share mobile development best practices and help advance native mobile engineering at Zopa.
Requirements
- Experience building and shipping polished production iOS applications using Swift.
- Solid understanding of iOS frameworks and native mobile development principles.
- Experience working on modern, high-engagement applications and creating fast, intuitive customer experiences.
- Commitment to maintainable code, strong engineering practices, testing, reliability, and overall application quality.
- Experience with mobile security best practices, Kotlin, React Native, or collaboration with Android engineers is beneficial but not essential.
