Responsibilities
- Lead the technical design and development of SAP EWM solutions.
- Develop custom enhancements using ABAP Objects, BAdIs, user exits, implicit and explicit enhancements, RF Framework, PPF, and MFS when applicable.
- Design and build interfaces using IDoc, RFC, and REST/OData through SAP Gateway and SAP BTP.
- Optimize warehouse processes including putaway, picking, wave management, and yard management.
- Collaborate with functional consultants to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
- Support integration with SAP MM, SD, TM, and PP modules and external WCS/WMS systems.
- Perform code reviews, enforce development standards, and mentor junior developers.
- Lead technical troubleshooting and root cause analysis during hypercare and AMS support.
- Contribute to solution architecture and effort estimation.
Requirements
- 6–10+ years of SAP development experience with a strong focus on SAP EWM.
- Deep expertise in SAP EWM architecture, including embedded and decentralized environments.
- Strong ABAP OO skills and experience with HANA-optimized performance tuning.
- Experience with RF development, the PPF framework, EWM enhancements, and debugging standard EWM classes and function modules.
- Knowledge of SAP S/4HANA and SAP BTP integration patterns.
- Familiarity with Scrum and SAFe methodologies.
- Strong leadership, mentoring, client communication, problem-solving, and autonomous decision-making skills.
- Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
