Responsibilities
- Build and maintain system functionality.
- Integrate the application with required systems and services.
- Create clean, easy-to-use APIs and data streams for the frontend.
- Own application functionality, performance, and scalability.
- Develop and work with modern APIs, databases, and microservice architecture.
- Contribute to a safe, collaborative, growth-focused, purposeful, values-driven, and diverse company culture.
Requirements
- 3+ years of professional software engineering experience with particular expertise in TypeScript.
- Deep knowledge of object-oriented programming and software development principles.
- Significant experience writing and using autonomous service-oriented RESTful API services and tuning large-scale applications.
- Strong knowledge of relational and non-relational databases, including SQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, Couchbase, and Redis.
- Experience building microservice architectures.
- Ability to write effective unit, integration, and API tests.
- Potential knowledge of immutable infrastructure and infrastructure automation and provisioning tools.
- Experience with Azure, AWS, Bash, Shell, Docker, and Kubernetes is a plus.
